8 LIVE & INTENSIVE TRACKS BY TWO OF THE GREATEST GUITARS PLAYERS. Yes, they're back at it again four years later, and yes, this time the label went ahead and recorded these two monster guitar players with huge sound for an amazing performance. Following the 2 Big Mc's first recording live in Patrimonio in 2019, the boss of the Corsican festival "Les Nuits de la Guitare" wanted to see the two pistoleros together again. With everyone's diaries so full, the Bad Reputation label took the lead in selecting new tracks to suit the two trigger-happy killers. In addition to their exemplary professionalism, Pat and Eric, like two old road companions, added their own ideas to the chosen compositions. And what ideas they were! A violin on Almost Cut my Hair and Goo Goo Muck, a Hispanic guitar on Parisienne Walkways (transformed into Corsican Walkways for the occasion): what genius and happiness! Ever since the "Pat McManus Band was signed to Bad Reputation, the idea of him covering Thin Lizzy's Night Of A Blues Singer had been on the label's mind. And so it was! It was out of the question not to pay tribute to Jeff Beck (who played Patrimonio several times) with his Goin' Down. The evening ended with an improvised Highway To Hell, with the festival director and audience clamoring for a final encore. The concert you are about to hear has only two days of rehearsal behind it. Bravo to Fabrice Trovato and Pedro Misle's rhythm section for working like crazy while keeping the spotlight on the two bosses. If the first 2 Big Mc's was a hit, this new live concert should finally enable this project to play the biggest Blues and Rock festivals. Because so many artists and festivalgoers came out at the end of the concert to praise the infectious joy offered by the two dudes and the unforgettable performance they delivered.
